Sausage Stuffed Bell Peppers

For Bell Peppers:
Cooking Instructions: FOR STUFFING: Melt butter in a frying-pan and add onions and garlic. Fry gently until onions begin to brown. Add sausage meat and fry gently for 5 minutes. In a bowl, mix together bulgur, parsley and tomatoes. Add sausage meat mixture; season with salt and pepper. FOR BELL PEPPERS: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Halve bell peppers and discard seeds. Fill the peppers with stuffing and place in a shallow baking dish. Drizzle with a little olive oil and bake for 30 minutes. Makes 4 servings. |
